  • Arrive at Tribhuvan Airport. Our tour representative will transfer you to the hotel. Relax.

  • Day 2: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation
 
  • Today head to visit UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu. First, go to Durbar Square and explore Nepalese art and culture. Then visit famous Swayambhunath also known as Monkey Temple, Pashupatinath, and Bouddhanath.
  • After returning, we begin preparation for our trek next day.

  • Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola [710m/2328 ft] 8 - 9 hours
 
  • After breakfast, we drive towards Sotikhola. Enjoy spectacular views of the Nepalese farmland and mountainous landscapes en-route. Then from a rough route through Arughat, we reach Sotikhola.
 
  • Day 4: SotiKhola - MacchaKhola [900m/2952 ft]: 6 - 7 hours
 
  • After breakfast, we start our real trek towards Machhakhola. The path drops slowly until we ascend again to the mountain range. Trekking en-route the forest we arrive at Riden Gaon. The trail then descends to the sandy riverbed of Budhi Gandaki.

  • Day 5:  MacchaKhola - Jagat [1410m/ 4625 ft]: 6 - 7 hrs
 
  • Today during the trail, we cross Machha River, trailing upstream along the river´s edge. Cross a hot spring “Tatopani, forest region to reach Dovan. Underneath Dovan, there's a grand rapid at Budhi Gandaki. The trail to reach Jagat is breathtaking.

  • Day 6:  Jagat - Deng [1,804m/5917 ft]: 6 - 7 hrs
 
  • Today start climbing a rocky ridge up to Setibas. The path joins a steep uninhabited canyon and falls over green hills through Budhi Gandaki. Cross bamboo forest to reach Deng.

  • Day 7: Deng - Namrung [2630m/8626ft]: 6 - 7 hrs
 
  • After breakfast, we cross the Budhi Gandaki. Ascend to Rana at 1910m further head west upward till the Budhi Gandaki valley. We pass through mani then Prok village to enjoy a beautiful sight of Siringi Himal.
  • Later, crossing the Budi Gandaki several times. Visit a few gompas amid the trek. Then cross the river going down a narrow canyon and the forest. The relaxing trail proceeds and then a last steep rise takes us to Namrung.

  • Day 8:  Namrung – Samagaon [3530m/11,578 ft]: 6-7 hours
 
  • Today we trail to Nupri region passing Barcham and Himan Khola to reach Shyo. The trail then descends across Damonan Khola. Climb again to a plateau. Then descend onto a rock-strewn moraine and go by a ridge facing pastures of Sama Gaon at the end of the valley.

  • Day 9:  Samagaon - Pungyengompa - Samagaon: 6 - 7 hrs.
 
  • Today we take a short trip to Punggen Gompa. Enclosed by mountains in a serene forest you can trek to Manaslu Base Camp for outstanding views of Samdo (Pang phuchuli); Simnang Himal, Nagdi chuli, and Manaslu glacier. After enjoying the landscape return to Samagaon.

  • Day 10:  Samagaon - Samdo [3860m/12,660 ft]: 4 - 5 hours
 
  • Today we trek slowly uphill to reach Samdo crossing a desert track, windy valley, the birch and juniper forest, ascending gently and passing through the Budhi Gandaki.

  • Day 11: Rest Day in Samdo
 
  • Today rest and discover the Tibetan people’s lifestyle. Also, enjoy an outstanding view of several grand peaks.

  • Day 12:  Samdo - Dharamsala/Larkya B. C. [4460m/14, 628 ft]: 4 - 5 hrs.
 
  • Start descending on a wide trail crossing several fields to a huge Mani wall and stone entrance. The whole trail is rocky and crisscrosses. Cross the east bank of the river, we reach the last permanent settlement in the valley, Sumdu. Further, cross the river all down through the Gya La (Pass). Arrive at Larkya Bazaar. Trek above the Larke Khola to reach Dharmashala.

  • Day 13:  Dharamsala - Larkya la [5160m/16, 924 ft] - Bimthang [3720m/12, 201 ft]: 8 - 9 hrs.
 
  • Today trek along a moraine, snowy ridge, and reach a beautiful turquoise lake that mirrors the encompassing snowy mountains. This is a more vigorous day on crossing across the Larkya Pass (5213m) towards the moraine of Salpudanda glacier. The trail then goes parallel to Bimtang glacier to reach Bimtang. From here, get great views of Cheo Himal (6820m), Himlung Himal (7126m), Gyaji Kung (7030m), and Annapurna II (7937m).

  • Day 14: Bimthang - Tilije [2300m/7544ft]: 5 - 6 hrs.
 
  • After breakfast trek begins crossing a glacial stream, a wooden bridge, gradually descending through rhododendron and pine woodland viewing the north face of Manaslu all the way. Keep trekking until reaching Tilje.

  • Day 15:  Tilije - Tal [1700m/5576 ft]: 5 - 6 hrs. (1700)
 
  • Today pass the high pasture, then trek through a downhill route along the bank of Dudh Khola (river) and Marsyangdi River. Cross bridge to reach Dharapani (1920m). Trek until landing at Tal. Here the river looks like a lake.
  • Overnight in lodge
 
  • Day 16:  Tal - Syange [1080m/3542 ft]: 6 - 7 hrs.
 
  • Today trek through the forest, small villages along Marsyangdi River appreciating the landscape of the surrounding hills. Reach Syange featured by the beautiful waterfall.
  • Overnight in lodge
 
  • Day 17: Syange - Kathmandu: 8-9 hrs.
 
  • After breakfast, have a scenic drive from Syange to Kathmandu surrounded by many mountains. Rest of the day at leisure.

  • Day 18: Final departure
 
  • Today our tour representative will transfer you to the Tribhuvan Airport for your departure flight.
