Upper Dolpa Trek in Nepal-28 days

Upper Dolpa Trek in Nepal-28 days

Dolpo is a challenging trek, in the wild west of Nepal. However, it is the most charming location in Nepal. Very fewer trekkers have hiked along these overlooked trails of Dolpo who have even regarded this place as the most excellent spot on the planet. Infrequently trodden Himalayan scenes with the residents practicing the ancient religion rituals make this region the most interesting trekking location for those explorers setting out to scale the high and wild but the divine nature. Dolpo is the same district as shown in the Oscar-nominated film “Himalayas” and motivation for the book ” The Himalayan Leopard”.
The Upper Dolpo Trek trail passes through various huge mountain ranges like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Kanjiroba, to give some examples. The primary feature of this trek is Shey Gompa, and lesser-known spots comprise of Saldang and Dho Tarap. Trekkers in this district fascinate about the wild remoteness, the dazzling mountain landscape and the inhabitants of this place who still have that pure friendliness nature.
The Upper Dolpo Trek to Shey Gompa takes you into an otherworldly land where hundreds of years old Bonpo and Buddhist customs, intertwined with shamanistic impacts, are as yet an essential part of the natives’ lifestyle. The gompas, villages, choratans, and individuals you meet amid this trek will leave an eternal impact on you. The tracks pass through various huge mountain ranges and pass. The scenes here are much more isolated and the towns significantly more detached and unadulterated. Camping is vital for this trekking adventure.

Highlights:

  • Visit many famous UNESCO horeitage sites in Kathmandu.

  • Magnificent view of Kanjirowa Himal, crystal Mountain etc.

  • Hike in the Nepali wilderness.

  • Explore remote areas of Dolpo district.

  • Cross three passes: Kang-La pass (5,360m/17,581ft), Saldang La (5,200m/17,056ft), and Jeng La pass (5,090m/16,695ft).
