Everest Region

A must-see for anyone interested in Nepal’s walking tourism is the Everest region, which is the epitome of the country’s walking tourism. In addition to being home to the world’s highest mountain, Mt. Everest (8848 m), it is also home to three other top ten mountains, including Mt. Lhotse (8516 m), Choyu (8201 m), and Makalu (8463 m).

There are many mountain ranges in the Khumbu region of Nepal, and its Sherpa ethnic group is well known for its mountaineering skills. It is known as the Khumbu region of Nepal. In order for travelers across the globe to experience the majestic wonders of the Khumbu region via numerous trekking routes, Mountain Hike Nepal would like to invite them to do so.

Nepal’s Everest region holds a variety of trekking routes ranging from easy trekking routes to strenuous trekking routes and from short hiking trails to long hiking trails. One of the most popular trekking routes in the Everest region of Nepal is the Everest Base Camp Trekking, and it is probably one of the most walked routes in Nepal. Most of the trekking in this region starts from Lukla. It is important to note that some trekkers do the long route from Jiri, which is the classical trekking start point in this region. For exploration of Lower Solukhumbu, this is the entry point, while others explore Phaplu.

There are three high passes on this trek that takes trekkers to the Everest Base Camp (5364 meters) as well as to the three most difficult high passes in Nepal at the Everest Region. This is the most strenuous trekking package in Nepal. In this region, there are three popular high passes: Renjo La Pass, Chola Pass, and Kongma La Pass.

There are other trekking routes in the Everest region as well, including the Everest Base Camp Chola Pass Trek, the Gokyo Valley Trek, the Everest View Trek, the Mani Rimdu Festival Trek, the Sherpa Homeland Trek, the Jiri EBC Trek, the Everest Mini Trek, and the Everest Helicopter Tour. Travelers can complete these trekking packages within a week to a week or two weeks.
